After 5 days of deployment the members of Fame EMS assigned to the EMS Strike Team returned home. The crew of Ambulance 12-4 traveled all over New Jersey transporting many patients in need. Fame EMS is proud of these 5 members.
After spending 24 hours in staging the Crew from Fame EMS were deployed to the Philadelphia area. Late last evening they were deployed to the New Jersey coast assisting in evacuating patients from health care facilities.
Today members of Fame EMS were deployed as part of an EMS Strike Team in preparation for Hurricane Irene. Ambulance 12-4 departed with Captain Coldren, Paramedic Martin, EMT Myers, EMT Peters, and EMT Howell for the staging area in Harrisburg.

Junction Fire Co. celebrated thier 100 year anniversary with a celebration and parade. Fame EMS participated in the parade and won a 1st Place Trophy. Fame EMS congratulates Station 15 on 100 years of great service to the community and we look forward to serving with you for another 100 years.
Rehab 12 and Ambulance 12-3 responded with area fire and EMS agencies to Allensville for a barn fire. The Rehab sector was established by Fame EMS with help from multiple ambulance services. Temperatures were over 100 degrees with over 100 firefighters operating on scene.
Fame EMS and Rehab responded with area fire agencies for a reported Lumber Yard fire. Arrived on scene to find large piles of wood chips well off. Due to the extreme heat members of Fame EMS provided the Rehab sector.
Fame EMS and Rehab responded with fire agencies to 16 S. Main St. for a building fire. Units arrived to find a working fire on the first floor. Temperatures were near 100 degrees outside. EMS 12-3 (Everts) established the rehab sector.
Fame EMS Ambulance & Rehab responded with area fire agencies for a two alarm house fire. Units arrived with heavy fire conditions and high out side temperatures. EMS 12-1 (Williams) established EMS Command.
Rehab 12 responded on the 2nd alarm assignment to the Dairyland Complex. The Rehab arrived under the direction of Deputy Chief Abrashoff and set up the rehab sector in conjunction with Milroy EMS. Great job to all responding staff.
The Fame EMS Board of Directors held a steak feed for all staff and their families in recognition of EMS Week. All those attending had a great time even though it was pouring rain.
